This final activity will be used to test and evaluate your knowledge of excel formulas and how they apply to data and will contain two parts.
Part one
The first part of the final assignment will see you creating a simple expense report over the span of two weeks. This expense report will be used to track everything you incur within the office over 10 days. If you work a position that generally has no expense, then please fill in hypothetical data.
Details:
- Each of the ten days should have its own row for tracking data
- Data should be organized in a way that makes sense, example categories can be Food, Travel or Training.
- Please use MISC for any expense that do not fit into one of the larger categories
- At the end of the 10 days, you should apply each of the 5 formulas you've learned in order to create a set of results
- The way you use the formulas are up to you, but keep in mind they should result in an answer to a possible, hypothetical question (examples are 'which day of the week had the largest expense?' or 'what was the average you spent on food over the 10 days').
Part Two
The second part of this final task is to create a short (< 5 minutes) presentation of your choosing (can be a PowerPoint Slide Deck, PDF, Word Doc, etc). that shows your data table, results of the formula applications, as well as a set of questions that could be posited in order to find the result).
The presentation should include:
- Your completed data table
- The results of the formula applications
- A set of questions that could have been posited in a way that required the formulas to answer
Post your final presentation and data table to the Discussion Board under Endgame.
